Worldwide Walk Fundraiser
The funds raised through the Worldwide Walk will directly support our Financial Assistance Fund, which helps patients and parents attend the conference. If you apply for assistance, we ask that you also take part in the fundraising efforts. Save the link below to create or join a fundraising team after you submit this application. Financial Assistance Programme – Terms and Conditions

Our Financial Assistance Program is intended specifically for families who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial hardship.

1. Application Does Not Guarantee Funding:
Submission of an application does not guarantee that financial assistance will be awarded.

2. Conference Attendance Requirement:
To be eligible for financial assistance, applicants must attend the Brighter Hope Foundation Conference in Paris, France, on August 8, 2026.

3. Accommodation Arrangements:
All accommodation must be arranged and paid for by the applicant. Brighter Hope Foundation is not responsible for booking or covering these expenses.

4. Proof of Expenses:
You will need to send us official receipts for your accommodation after the event.

5. Disbursement Timeline:
Payments will begin three weeks after the event concludes. Once we receive your receipts, your payment will be processed within three weeks—so if you submit them promptly, you could receive your grant as early as three weeks post-event. Please note that we’re unable to offer advance payments.

6. Payment Methods:
Payments will be made via PayPal.

7. Application Deadline:
All applications for the Financial Assistance Programme must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
No late applications can be accepted.

8. Notification of Outcome:
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application on May 8, 2026.

9. Only one application per patient family can be considered.

10. Fundraising Requirement
If you apply for assistance, we ask that you also take part in the fundraising efforts. This means creating or joining a team and fundraising for the 2026 Worldwide Walk.
