Visa requirements depend on your country of citizenship. Please check the visa requirements for your country well in advance of travel.
How should we travel to the Disneyland Paris area?
Families will be traveling to the conference from many different countries, and there are several ways to reach the Disneyland Paris area.
- Flying – most international travellers will fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, which is located approximately 35 – 40 minutes from Disneyland Paris.
- Driving – if you are traveling from nearby countries in Europe, driving may be the easiest option.
- Train – some families may take a high speed train to Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy station, the train station located directly next to Disneyland Paris. Other families may take a regional train from central Paris.
More detailed travel information and transportation guidance can be found on the Travel & Transportation Guide page of the conference website.
Do I have to make my own travel/accommodation arrangements?
Yes, you are responsible for arranging your flights and accommodation.
Do I need to stay at the conference hotel?
No, but we strongly encourage families to stay at the conference hotel if possible. Staying on site makes it much easier to attend presentations, participate in activities, and connect with other families throughout the weekend. Additionally, Brighter Hope Foundation works hard to negotiate the best possible hotel rates and to make the most of your registration dollars – keeping the conference affordable and accessible to everyone.
How do I book the hotel?

Do I need to attend all parts of the programme?
Families are welcome to participate in as much of the programme as they wish. However, families receiving financial aid are expected to attend all parts of the conference programme in order to receive reimbursement after the event.
What should I wear to the conference?
The conference is casual and family-friendly. Comfortable clothing is recommended for the presentations and activities. We recommend bringing a light layer or something warm, as air‑conditioned hotel spaces can sometimes feel a bit chilly. You may also want comfortable walking shoes for the Worldwide Walk and for the Disneyland Paris days.
What opportunities will there be to connect with other families?
Connecting with other families is one of the most meaningful aspects of Brighter Hope Foundation conferences. Throughout the weekend, there will be multiple opportunities to meet others who share similar experiences.
In addition to the Meet & Greet Dinner and informal conversations during meals and activities, the conference will also include breakout discussion groups, which may include groups such as
- Families impacted by ENPP1 Deficiency
- Families impacted by ABCC6 Deficiency
- Adult Patients
These conversations often become some of the most valuable and supportive parts of the conference experience.
What are the accessibility options at Disneyland Paris?
Disneyland Paris offers a range of accessibility services for guests with disabilities and certain chronic health conditions. These services may include specialised access cards that can help reduce wait times for attractions, shows, and other experiences.
Two types of access cards may be available:
- Priority Card – for guests with officially recognised disabilities, providing priority (but not immediate) access to attractions, shows, parades, and certain services.
- Easy Access Card – for guests with certain long-term chronic conditions, which may provide scheduled return times for attractions
Families who believe they may qualify for one of these services should review the official accessibility information provided by Disneyland Paris.

Please note that all accessibility arrangements must be made directly with Disneyland Paris and are the sole responsibility of each family. Brighter Hope Foundation cannot arrange these services.
Families are strongly encouraged to review the requirements well in advance of their trip to ensure they have the proper documentation and understand the application process before arriving at the parks.
